REALLY tired. Spent from Friday until this afternoon camping at Kanaskat-Palmer State Park with Matthew's cub pack. At least those who weren't complete weenies. Pack Master decided to do "something else" - oops, sorry - he let me know when I called him Saturday morning. So, yay! Pull activities out of my butt for the hoard to do toward various badges. Our pack master sucks, IMHO.
BUT I am now "Queen of The Dutch Oven." Baked bread on site completely from scratch. (Will do this SCA camping - it was to die for de-lish!) Made pineapple-upside-down cake, chock full o'caramelly, pineapple goodness. Roasted potatoes & brats. Baked fruit. The best was the baked apples with Mexican drinking chocolate baked into them - the cinnamon & chocolate with the apple was fantastic. Some of this goodness, while not SCA period, is still camping goodness and will be shared at future SCA events.
Especially the bread and the chocolate baked apples.
