cranberry pumpkin bread...  I added about 2 tsp pure vanilla & NEVER EVER use dried cranberries. Fresh or frozen, if you please. For the loave at DL's Candlemas, I substituted Splenda blend (out of consideration for HE Arontius) and topped some of the loaves with sparkling sugar..

Best ever accessory, hands down, I have gotten for my Kitchen Aid has been the Beater Blade. It's scrapes the bowl sides as you go, making for amazingly fluffy creamed butter. It's almost magic. Doubt me? Think I am exaggerating? Here's proof:

well-creamedpound cake perfection
The first photo is a pound each of butter & sugar (guess what I'm making) See how pale  fluffy?

Next shot is after nine eggs & a pound of flour. Ethereal, folks!

...some you lose. While this bread started out okay & even looked pretty, it was not that great.  At least it wasn't just me. My company was making rolls at her house & said they turned out like bricks. The dog wouldn't even touch them.  We'll blame it on the weather.

At least the pot roast was delectable.
