History geek, craft nerd, sewing weenie... Guess that sums up a small portion. I am an active member of the Society for Creative Anachronism, taking on the persona of Elizabeth FittzWilliam of Carlisle. She is a 16th century borderlands English woman of means. I also enjoy other periods of history, finding the influences of past cultures endlessly fascinating. How much history and art interweave from one people to the next over the centuries is indeed beautiful. I also enjoy other crafty things and may from time to time rattle on about some "neat" thing or another.

I also dabble in needlework. I cannot say I am an expert at any one discipline, but I can wield a needle effectively at most. I'm not afraid to try something new & bleed a bit for my fun!!

My husband Dan & I both former military. We wound up here in the lovely Puget Sound, fell in love with the area and made great friends. We chose to settle here when our respective times in the Army were done. He's from Phoenix, AZ and I am from New England. Amazing how well we fit here. We have two boys.
