For those of you who don't know, a group of neo-hippies and such decided to start a co-op a couple of years ago. Local, organic & fair/direct trade goods at a reasonable price. I discovered them last year at an event in my neighbourhood. The initial goal for membership was 2,000. That goal has fallen far short with just over 200 people. I encourage anyone out there who is concerned about the origin of their food to take a look:
At the very least, drop by the site & see what it's all about. So many people want to join on the condition there is a store front in place. BUT there can't be a viable store front without enough members to support it.
Have faith, take the plunge.
